**Job Summary:**
As a Construction Field Supervisor specializing in Polished Concrete, you will be pivotal in overseeing and coordinating polished concrete construction projects from start to finish. Your role will involve ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget while upholding high-quality standards. Your leadership abilities, technical expertise, and effective communication with stakeholders will be crucial for project success.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Schedule Management:** Supervise field crews to ensure adherence to the project schedule set by the Project Manager.
2. **Team Leadership:** Lead on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and mentorship for optimal performance.
3. **Quality Assurance:** Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
4. **Safety Management:** Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and audits to maintain a safe work environment.
5. **Client Communication:** Act as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
6. **Resource Management:** Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for materials/services procurement to maximize efficiency.
7. **Problem Solving:** Anticipate and address construction-related challenges to keep projects on track.
8. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
9. **Cost Control:** Monitor project expenses, review and approve financial documents while seeking cost-minimizing opportunities.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a construction field supervisor or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
